Consultant/Trainer/Instructional Designer

Most recently employed as OD consultant to support organizations, managers and employees that want to achieve their goals for improved performance, individual and group development and development of more effective work practices and relationships.

 

Examples of accomplishments:

n     Co-facilitated the reorganization of the customer service division of a regional electrical utility company, reducing the number of customer service operations from 20 to 12 and eliminating 75 jobs through attrition.

n     Co-facilitated the restructuring of a human services organization from a centralized operation to neighborhood and community based service delivery.

n     Trained and coached a work group charged with developing process maps and standard operating procedures for the administrative services unit of a municipal division of sanitary sewers.

n     Planned and facilitated a strategic planning process for a statewide Oorgan Pprocurement Oorganization using scenario planning.

n     Consulted with the Board of Directors of a charitable non-profit to help them create a vision for their organization’s future and begin succession planning and restructuring of the Board

n     Consulted with and coached a management work group to help them design and implement a federally mandated “Results Oriented Management and Accountability,” system within their organization, using it as a tool to integrate all planning, monitoring, reporting and evaluation activities within the organization.

n     Designed and presented a train- the- trainer program and coached a team of safety trainers for a public utility company.

n     Customized and delivered a presentation skills training program and coached presentation teams of middle managers in preparation for executive presentations to the senior administrators of a state university.

n     Designed and implemented a training program to integrate health professionals (doctors and nurses) into the regional office operations of a national health insurer.

n     Designed and coordinated the field- test of a training program for court appointed guardians ad litem (attorneys) for abused and neglected children and provided technical writing services for the production of a written manual to accompany the training.

n     Coordinated the design, development and production of a 20-volume reference guide series, accompanying optical scan forms to retrieve information from patient charts, and computer generated feedback system for a national medical board.

n     Wrote television scripts for a 5-program series designed to help high school students prepare for the SAT college entrance examination.  (Bronze medal winner, 1990 International Film and Television Festival of New York..)
