Margaret talks about her work

Margaret Verble, Ed.D., has been a consultant and successful small business owner for over two decades. Her work in communication skills for health care professionals is internationally recognized, but she also has extensive experience in other areas and in other segments of the economy. In addition to her work in teaching communication skills, she has taught training and facilitation skills in academic, hospital and business settings. She also has extensive experience in instructional design and in writing for publication and broadcast.

Her recent work experience includes:

The design and delivery of instruction based on research from the United States and adapted for physicians in Great Britain;
Delivery of conflict management skills training and the mediation of interpersonal disputes;
Design and facilitation of organization development activities centering on problem identification, idea generation and problem-solving;
Interviewing to uncover root concerns and problems, to investigate complaints and disputes, to improve decision-making and to select employees; and the teaching of interviewing skills to others;
Personal coaching for executives and professionals (Coaching Services).
